I am currently busy working on my Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling. I am studying part-time while committed to learning more about mind and body connections. My primary Yoga study has been with Alignment Yoga creator Scott Anderson. I am a certified 500 E teacher through Yoga Alliance. Being a life long learning, I am also studying Pilates Mat work with Collette Stewart and Biomechanics and Natural Movements online with Katy Bowman. It is my goal that you leave each session with techniques that allow you to feel mentally focused, physically strong, and emotionally at ease. I create a safe, low-pressure atmosphere where students can relax, restore, and find balance. My classes are straight forward and encourage people to rediscover their authentic selves, to trust their innate wisdom, and to reconnect to their inner potential and power.
Private sessions and classes are based on nervous system health and well being and explore the movements and flows of our natural strengths and energies. I give simple and clear instructions, and take care to provide progressions that students of all levels of experience and physical abilities can benefit from.
